Hello Members of Merepark Surgery
For those of you who I have not yet met, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself….
Originally a “Lancashire lass”, I graduated from Edinburgh University Medical School in 1986.
Following a spell in a variety of specialties, including general medicine, emergency care (A&E), ENT as well as obstetrics and gynecology, I settled as a full time Partner in General Practice in Musselburgh, a small fishing village on the outskirts of Edinburgh where I remained for over 15yrs.
In 2004 my husband secured a post at the North Staffordshire Hospital and the family relocated to Alsager in order to be with him. We were instantly struck by the warm and friendly welcome we received from the Alsager community enabling us to settle quickly into our new lives here.
Not long after the move, I was asked to help out as a locum for Merepark Surgery (in the old premises) and I have made guest appearances from time to time since then, meeting many of you over the years. I shall be officially joining the Partnership in July and I look forward to meeting more of you in the future…
