We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Online Services

To use Patient Access, we require two forms of identification, we will then issue you with a username and password to access appointments, prescriptions and some medical records.

Use your local pharmacy

Under the local Minor ailments scheme pharmacists can prescribe medications for specific conditions (click for more info). Pharmacists can also dispense emergency contraception, and a range of treatments for common conditions such as eczema, thrush, and viral illnesses.

Self Care

We are a self care aware practice. Self care is about looking after yourself in a healthy way. It can be anything from brushing your teeth, doing some exercise or managing common conditions like headaches, colds and flu. Click for more info.

Appointments

We operate an open surgery each morning 9:00 – 10:30, book in at reception from 8:30 to see your GP the same day. We have prebooked appointments available every afternoon. Our nurses are prebooked appointments only, please call the surgery for nurse appointments. Reception will ask what your appointment is for with the nurses to ensure you receive the correct clinician and time allocation for your appointment

Repeat Medication

We do not take medication queries over the phone. Please use Patient Access, email us at contact.merepark@nhs.net or drop your slip in at reception.
